Salem sat perched on the roof of the Clay Parrott Inn. The ancient raven silently watched the lonely well that sat in the center of the Town of Oasis. It was nearly as old as he was. People rarely used it now for water or wishes, passing by the relic like an unhoused beggar still pleading for coin. They had forgotten how to dream, for hope had left Oasis years ago. They had forgotten the myth of the Ferryman who waited below, and the seed of creation that once granted immortal life. They had forgotten the town was once without walls and gate and greed. They had forgotten what it was to be human. It would take a sinner’s prayer to make them remember.

I wanted to share a quick blurb on one of the most important characters in The Untamed: The Wishing Well – which is the name of our new comic that many of you have preordered on the recent Kickstarter. The old well made its first appearance in the original comic The Untamed: A Sinner’s Prayer and is such a huge part of our Asunda lore. It is the keyhole that unlocks grand tales and adventures, which we start to reveal in our new comic!
