As we are coming to the end of the summer season, new beginnings are upon us. I am with my son in Oregon and seeing his dorm for the first time! So excited to see his legend grow and so proud of the man he is becoming. He is studying finance and business, all with an aim to support Stranger Comics. He is responsible for the new website - super proud!

Stranger Comics is in full bloom with new titles Jaycen Wise and Defiant. The Exclusives for Defiant and JW sold out at SDCC from the copies we took. If you missed Jaycen Wise, worry not, as we are dropping the newest Kickstarter September 13th! Inker Alex Paterson and Eisner winning colorist Paris Alleyne are on interior duties based on Darrell’s stunning layouts. Above is a sample of a double spread! ALEX PATERSON: Is steadily becoming a fan favorite. I have just delivered a new Untamed script to Alex who is known for the Akira homages, and the interiors for two titles now – Tales of Asunda: Confessions of a Demon and The Disciple. This Untamed is a prequel to the original series and will be out next year as part of the TOA series.

We have featured all versions of Alex’s original Akira homage this week for TALES OF ASUNDA: Disciple on the website HERE!

DEFIANT: GOOD NEWS! Customs finally cleared and released our books, so they will be delivered to our warehouse shortly and then be out to everyone as soon as possible!
