Pondering Poet: A Guided Journal
Who are you becoming?
Pondering Poet: 100 Questions for Self Exploration
Pondering Poet is an introspective guided journal designed to help you slow down and reflect on your inner world. Each prompt is an invitation to explore your own creativity and meet your authentic self. This journal encourages a daily writing practice with 100 prompts divided into three categories: Awareness, Love and Fear, and Transformation. Whether you’re a writer or simply someone craving a unique creative outlet, this journal is perfect for morning reflections or evening wind-downs. Pondering Poet was written by Priscilla Nash, a recent graduate of the Marriage and Family Therapy program at The Chicago School. Priscilla often integrates her therapeutic knowledge into her writing prompts, creating a more intentional journaling experience.

HOW HAVE YOU BEEN?
A deep inhale and a stomach ache away
from a life so form filling and frame shattering.
When I throw punches I have to dodge them too
I’ve been sleeping with karma, she’s pregnant now too
I only write when there’s a knife to my neck
and when I stop you can only imagine
But the words bore me and the creation aimless
my only reader is a bit of breccia in my brain
and he’s hardly satisfied anyway
why write for the solemn reader
but when I stop you can only imagine
